The 2013 HSBC City of Bhangra Festival & Downtown Bhangra 2013 - The Californian Bhangra Knightz or Bhangra Knights dances to a mix of Punjabi music, Hip Hop and pop music. The HSBC City of Bhangra is a 10-day Bhangra music and dance celebration from May 30th to June 8th, 2013 in Vancouver BC, Canada. Hundreds of dhol drummers and percussionists, Punjabi musical bands and international artists from the U.K., New York, California, Surrey BC and India come to perform in this South Asian HSBC Bank sponsored cultural festival at the frontyard of the Vancouver Art Gallery (VAG). Acts include Bhangra Empire, Inder Kooner, UNC Bhangra Elite, Cornell Bhangra of New York, Shava Finland Bhangra Band, Bhangra Knights of California and more.
