After alloy silver brazing numerious cracks in the "diving Bell", repairing bronze hanging support tubes, cleaning condenced fuel vapor deposits from inside the tiny capillary tubes, and replacing a hard found cast Viton rubber pump diaphragm, this gauge checks out well! Only 1/2 psi operates the needle on the gauge across its range. Gernman precision--of course!
Without this gauge / sender assembly, early Porsche Owners used a gasoling Dip Stick to measure fuel level. How Convenient! HA!
