The Passion: Four Evangelists, ONE Narrative

Have you ever wondered what the Passion of Our Lord would sound like if the accounts of all four Evangelists were combined into one master narrative? Well, now you can find out - because that's exactly what we have for you in this video.

During Holy Week, we hear the Passion of Our Lord chanted on Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and throughout the week. Where possible, it’s divided between three deacons: one narrates, one takes the words of Our Lord, and the third speaks for everyone else.

Father Henry James Coleridge was one of the forgotten greats of 19th-century English Catholicism, and in one of his books, he takes the four Passion narratives and arranges them into a single, continuous account—removing repetition where possible, but preserving the distinctive voice of each Evangelist.
