Part 2 of a feature length video comprising a two-day excursion to climb Ben Vane, Beinn Narnain and Beinn Ime in the Arrochar Alps (Scottish Highlands). Part 2 focuses on the ascents of Beinn Narnain (926 m) & Beinn Ime (1011 m), via an ascent of Beinn Narnain's south face. This route is generally considered to be the most exciting way up Beinn Narnain, offering plenty of technical challenge and scrambling. On this day in early March 2022, these challenges were enhanced by the wintry conditions at higher altitude, necessitating the use of a pole or ice axe. Beinn Ime is the highest in the Arrochar Alps and its ascent is long but technically easy, accompanied by some beautiful snow slopes under wintry conditions. This anniversary special also features life around the hikes themselves during a busy hiking weekend.
