The T18s and T49As spent hours hunting a Steller sea lion right outside of Friday Harbor - the same whales in the exact same location where we saw them hunt a Steller last year! This time, the younger whales seemed to take the lead in the hunt, which is why it was so extended. The sea lion was still alive at sunset, so we don't know how this epic battle ended, but it was an incredible sight to behold.
