I built a Rain Auto Fold and Unfold System using ESP32, a rain sensor, 2-channel relay, and a linear actuator.
The system automatically unfolds the frame when rain is detected and folds back when the rain stops, protecting items from getting wet. A compact mechanical frame is designed to support smooth folding and unfolding using the linear actuator.
This project also supports manual control through the KME Smart App using WiFi, allowing the fold and unfold mechanism to be operated from anywhere in the world.
