We take a ferry from Italy to Corsica to sample the local rock for a couple of weeks. Around the city of Corte, the tafoni granite in the Restonica Valley produces some unique formations and beautiful walls. This is the place if you want to climb steep routes with good holds even in grades as low as 6a. Our visit gets cut a bit short, unfortunately, because the late autumn winds bring some unconsistent weather.
