UPDATE: Tennessee wanted to completely silence WhistlinDiesel. The judge rejected most of their request.
On December 8, 2025, Cody Detwiler appeared in Williamson County Circuit Court before Judge Deana Hood. Prosecutors originally asked for a blanket gag order—no videos, no social media posts, no discussing the case at all.
Judge Hood entered a LIMITED gag order: Cody can't post non-public discovery materials (like the investigative report he showed in his previous video). But he CAN keep discussing anything that's public record—the indictment, his arrest, his defense. All fair game.
The DA's office backed off their original demand. Cody called the ruling "reasonable."
