Making An Ink That Will Last Forever (almost) - Valentine's Special

We explore how to make a very old ink called iron gall ink. Perhaps you can use it to write a message to your Valentine. Wishing you all a very happy February and hopefully I'll begin to upload a bit more regularly.
If you would like to follow along with the experiment you will need:
Tannic acid (0.6 g),
Ferrous sulfate (0.8 g),
Gum arabic (0.8 g),
Water (25 mL),
Vinegar (3-5 drops),
Some containers to mix things together in,
Pen (glass, feather, free flowing),
Balance to weigh the materials.
If you want to store the ink make sure to use a bottle with a tight sealing lid.
