The Niederfinow ship lift is the oldest still in operation ship lift in Germany. A terrain inclination of 36 meters is overcome in just 5 minutes. The Niederfinow Nord ship lift is being built in parallel to the previous lift, which is scheduled to go into operation in 2021 to completely replace the old lift in 2025.
