There are a lot of Inubiwa trees in Japan but you have to find a fruiting tree that has been pollinated by bees or wasps. The turn the flowering blumes into sweet and juicy baby figs! The season is usually in late August but I found a fully ripening tree early Aug. So get out there and forage a bunch! I made delicious jam with only a small bag full. Ill definately go out and gather more for more preserves.
