Hi Guys. Knowing the cost of electrical spinning wheels and finding this spinning flyer, the old mind went into overdrive.
For right hand spin we use a figure eight band and for left hand spin we use a straight band.
Not the prettiest but certainly pound for piece a very simple easy repurposed wheel.
You could use basically any flyer with this design.
The beauty of this is no belt adjustment needed. If it is put together correctly it will work as well both ways. You could always mount the motor on a large door hinge and add a screw adjustment. However for a proto type. This is quite serviceable.
