DISCLAIMER: While the current v4.0 of Pokémon Radical Red has been out for 2 weeks now; I've recorded both this Monotype and the succeeding Fire Monotype weeks ago before the v4.0 came out. The last Monotype to finish my version-wide Monotype series which would be in the Normal-type would be played under the current v4.0.
0:00 First Rival Battle
0:16 First Brendan Battle
0:24 Lass Anne [Infinite Repel]
0:40 Falkner - His Emolga was annoying
1:10 Brock - Unsurprisingly, the type disadvantage made him a very hard battle and Archen just delaying the inevitable
1:47 Super Nerd Miguel - The RNG Gods blessed Butterfree with that back-to-back Omni-boost from Silver Wind
2:07 Team Rocket Admin Archer
2:24 Cerulean City Rival Battle - Looking back now, getting Emolga from the Pewter City Wonder Egg was the right choice
2:37 Cerulean City Nugget Bridge Gauntlet
4:20 Team Rocket Grunt [TM28 Dig]
4:38 Bugsy
5:03 Misty
5:34 SS Anne Double Battles
6:37 SS Anne Brendan Battle
7:00 Whitney
7:25 Lt. Surge - Swoobat sweep (with some support from others)
8:06 Lass Caitlin
8:43 Erika - Even with a Type Advantage, her battle is still not a breeze to finish at (While the 4.0 version had Contrary Serperior replaced, Protean Meowscarada is still a big threat) Also at this point, I should've evolved Gligar to Gliscor, but as the next few Major Battles would show, Eviolite Gligar saved me from some of them
9:23 Team Rocket Boss Giovanni [Team Rocket Hideout]
9:55 Morty
10:29 Chuck
11:06 Silph Co. Rival Battle
11:38 Silph Co. Team Rocket Admins Archer and Ariana Double Battle - Leading a Pokemon with Defiant/Competitive makes this Double Battle easier
12:16 Team Rocket Boss Giovanni [Silph Co.]
12:58 Sabrina - Another instance of RNG Gods blessing me, this time with too much Air Slash flinching
13:50 Brock Rematch - May be one of hardest battles I've ever done in the years of playing Radical Red. This is a battle that good RNG luck was necessary (e.g. his lead Gigalith sleeping for more than 1 turn, Stone Edge missing, Leaf Blade landing a critical hit)
14:32 Misty Rematch - Contrary to the insane difficulty of the previous Rematch, Misty Rematch was a total Pikachu-Flying sweep (with some assist from Gyarados to her Kingdra)
14:59 Lt. Surge Rematch - Encoring his lead Pachirisu to using an Electric-type move to a Lighting Rod Pokemon is some high IQ play, which led to Emolga taking down half of his team (also first appearance of Gliscor)
15:34 Sandstorm Weather Route
17:18 Rain Weather Route
18:58 Dumbass Mudkip Kid
19:39 Fuchsia City Brendan Battle
20:18 Hailstorm Weather Route
21:11 Harsh Sunlight Route
24:05 Beauty Sam and Shelly
24:56 Erika Rematch
25:32 Ace Trainer Cole
26:08 Ace Trainer Haley
26:53 Koga
27:37 Jasmine
28:12 Pryce - Eviolite Prankster Murkrow did its role here excellently
29:00 May
29:43 Blaine
30:21 Team Rocket Admins Archer and Ariana [Cerulean Cave] - Body Press Corviknight handles Archer (outside of Mega Houndoom, but it doesn't matter given he withdraws to one)
31:16 Team Rocket Boss Giovanni [Cerulean Cave] - While it had quite a number of wipes/resets, it isn't as much and as tedious as the Ice and Rock Monotypes
31:56 Clair - I don't know why her Dragonite kept on Dragon Dancing
32:37 Pre-Champion Rival Battle
33:41 Final Brendan Battle
Music is from the "Soaring from the Skies" theme from Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, both the Day and Night Versions.
