Title: Random walks and fractional Euler-Poisson-Darboux equation

Abstract: We consider the fractional Euler-Poisson-Darboux equation with the fractional derivatives in form of a power of the Bessel differential operator. We solve it using the technique of the Meijer integral transform and its modification. We provide explicit formula for the solution to the corresponding initial-value problems in terms of the generalized Green function using H-functions. Also we consider the connection of this problem with a model of random flights.
