Sometimes a rainy day hike is just what you need, especially in the fall. The rain was also symbolic as we were back home for a funeral and really needed to get away for some wholesome time on the trail.
Today we explored Lick Creek Falls, in the Daniel Boone National Forest, affixed near Whitley, Kentucky. The trail system intersects with the famous Sheltowee Trace.
This section of the forest was simply gorgeous and as always, the video does NOT do this place justice. Thanks for watching!
