JR East E231-0 series set MU34 train ride from Shin-Urayasu-Nishi-Funabashi.

The E231-0 trains were built between 2000-2006, and they run on 5/8/10 car per train set.

These E231-0 trains can be found on the JR Chūō-Sōbu Line, Jōban Line, Keiyō Line (Through services from Tokyo-Futamatashnmachi or Kaihinmakuhari-Futamatashnmachi then continues as Musashino Line), Narita Line (Abiko Branch), JR Tōkaidō Line, Shōnan-Shinjuku and the Ueno-Tokyo Line.

24+ of these vehicles were converted into E231-3000 series to be used on the Hachikō-Line and Kawagoe Line.

Currently, there are 33 E231-0 trains in the Musashino Line, with sets MU2-MU22, MU31-MU39 and MU41-MU43)

これらのE231-0系は、JR中央・総武線、常磐線、京葉線（東京-二俣町駅または海浜幕張-二俣町駅は直通運転で、その後武蔵野線として運行）、成田線（我孫子支線）、JR東海道線、湘南新宿ライン、上野東京ラインで運行されています。

これらの車両のうち24両以上がE231-3000系に改造され、八高線と川越線で運行されています。

現在、武蔵野線にはMU2～MU22、MU31～MU39、MU41～MU43の33編成のE231-0系が運行されています。
