Blackpool Balloon Trams Are The Best

I am sure at this difficult time you like myself are missing riding on the trams in Blackpool at the moment. To try and cheers us all up let's celebrate Blackpool's iconic Balloon trams which have served the town since 1934.
The film starts with unseen footage from the Balloonatic weekends in May 2013 in which all servicable balloon cars were in action including 724 and 709 which is believed to have been their only appearance since the tramway was upgraded in 2011. 718 and 707 and others can be seen at Pleasure Beach and Fleetwood, of course they were carrying expired advertising liveries. The rest of the film features the best action of the balloons at Starr Gate, Bispham, Cabin and Tower on the usual Heritage Tram Tour special operating days. The film ends with footage from 2012 when 703 visited Beamish and there are still of other trams such as 704 and 720 which have not left Rigby Road Depot since 2011. Look out for cameo appearances from Bolton 66 and Centenary Car 648.
