Some of this footage is out on YT, but here's a hundred feet of "Golden Memories" featuring Shirley Temple, Leo Carrillo and Barbara Dougall, the Tournament Queen. There are shots of other floats as well, with brief bits of Shirley included throughout the film. Hollywood Film Enterprises offered this special title in their catalog in 1939 as number 1050-A in 50ft 8mm or 100ft 16mm reels. In order of appearance (courtesy of the Rose Parade souvenir pictorial):

Mrs. Temple gives a final touch-up to Shirley's hair before Shirley is helped to the float.

The film ends with Shirley waving.
