Dive beneath the surface of Darwin Harbour with a Sasha Muller who has spent decades exploring its hidden world, a place once alive with colour, coral, sponges and marine life.

For Sasha, diving was never just a job. It was joy, curiosity and connection, an underwater world full of wonder. But now, the Harbour he knows is changing. Many of the sponges and corals that once thrived here are disappearing, and the impacts of industrialisation are hard to ignore.

“All of my children have grown up in Darwin, I have a lot of grandchildren. One of my biggest fears is that I will not be able to show my grandchildren what I have experienced.”
