In this video I refurbish my Dad's old Stanley Bailey No4 Type 15 Hand Plane.
This plane has had a hard life, it has significant scratches in the sole and as I'm removing these I discover the Sole isn't flat, so I also solve that problem.
In the end I end up with a fully restored and working hand plane that I can use for the next 30 years and pass on to my children.
