Attribution Modeling Using GA4 + BigQuery | Part 1 - Data Preparation

I am starting a series of videos in which I will explain the exact steps and processes as well as nuances of getting started with attribution modeling in BigQuery using GA4 data.

First things first - this is NOT the most preferred way of doing attribution modeling (especially custom attribution models). But if you are looking to try your hand at it, this can be a good place to get started.
And my videos will help you there.

The first step though, is preparing the data for attribution modeling.
Using a public dataset of GA4 within BigQuery, I show how you can use a combination of SQL and Python to streamline the user journey data for attribution modeling in the next phase.
