This was my third lesson at Appalachian Airsports and it was productive and awesome! 9hr drive in one day was tough and I don’t recommend it but many things considered, my work, personal schedules, how I want to progress and the Sunday ended up having a good forecast for hill training, my gut told me to get out and go. There is a reason why I’m pushing myself a little… once I get some rusts off and feeling good about transitioning to Falcon glider I might be able to get back on the truck again, and also get introduced to local mountain sites. My horizons really open up if I get this momentum going.
Willie has been such an amazing instructor…. I’m so so impressed. Age is a dumb measure. The experience, the care for the sport and the pure talent and charisma make an extraordinary instructors like Willie and Steve!
