Spanning 14.5 hectares, Kani Yasuragi Forest is home to around 30,000 flowering trees and shrubs, representing approximately 180 species.
A major attraction of the park is a 140-meter-long roller slide—one of the largest in the Chubu region. It's not just for kids; adults can enjoy it too! Mats for the slide are available to borrow from the park's management office.
Nature lovers will also appreciate the well-maintained 5-kilometer walking trail, perfect for a leisurely stroll or forest bathing. Along the way, you can immerse yourself in the refreshing tranquility of the forest.
Next to the administration building, there is a peaceful pond where six ducks often swim together. Visitors are welcome to feed the ducks—free feed is available at the office, though supplies are limited.
For panoramic views, be sure to climb to the observation deck. Positioned on a hilltop with few obstructions, the deck offers a stunning 360-degree view, especially clear during the winter months.
And if you're looking to enjoy a meal outdoors, the park also features a dedicated barbecue area. It's an ideal place to relax with friends or family surrounded by nature.
