We all hope that the new year brings more joy, success, health, and happiness to our lives. It was January 01 2022 and we thought it would be best to start our new year with the blessings of the almighty.

Sharing here the experience of our visit to the Lord Shiva Hindu temple in Amsterdam. Our visit to the temple was very fulfilling and peaceful. We felt the positive energy around us and soaked some of it for the rest of this year, in fact, what would have been a better way to kick off this new year!!

It was so amazing to learn how the community efforts are helping the temple management to run various services/programs at the temple including aarti, prasaad, and langar, etc. One can contact temple authorities to donate and volunteer in the kitchen; it gives you a sense of belonging and also helps you contribute to the community.
