Universal Studios is coming to the UK - and it's heading to Bedford! Set to open in 2031 right now going through the Environmental Consultation which opened on 3rd July and closes on 31st August. After this date, MHCLG will be in consultation with the Planning Department with work expected to start on site beginning of 2026 if everything goes through and is passed.
New Era Tourism and Events will be keeping tracks on this to see what happens.
So for now, what does it all mean?
