This especially hilly seven-mile circular walk in Buckinghamshire promises breathtaking ascents, panoramic ridge views, and the challenge of locating two hidden trig points near Princes Risborough.
Starting conveniently in the town, the route climbs steeply onto The Ridgeway, ascending Kop Hill and Brush Hill before reaching Trig Point S2027 at Windsor Hill (248 metres), where vast countryside views unfold.
The journey continues along Whiteleaf Hill, passing the striking Whiteleaf Cross, before weaving through peaceful woodland toward Parslow’s Hillock.
A short stretch of road walking leads to Pink Hill, where Trig Point S4758 (234 metres) lies discreetly tucked within the hedgerow.
The final descent eases across open fields, guiding me back into Princes Risborough, completing this exhilarating exploration of Buckinghamshire’s rolling terrain.
This was filmed in 4K on a GoPro Hero 11 and a DJI Mini 3 Drone, on a grey and very windy day in February 2024.
