Hey Fam!

Welcome back to another episode of AD's Rx for MD! Today, I want to share a little snippet of what life has been like for me in my neuroscience and behavior module. This has been quite a demanding module to be honest for several reasons so be sure to stay tuned for my thoughts on the module as a whole at the end of the video. I would say that neuroscience is probably one of the more/most challenging modules of Med school but I believe most schools do reserve this module for the 2nd year so by then you have likely established a routine and have an understanding of how to approach med school. I'll be honest though, as the end of my pre-clinical years approaches, I am feeling more and more tired but especially with STEP 1 approaching, I need to be more focused than ever! Overall, I want this channel to be a journey for me to reflect on but also to share with all of you! I have an unconventional story and tons of unique experiences that you all may relate to and I can't wait to share. I want this channel to be a place where you feel like you can share the questions you've always had about being a pre-med and med student. 𝘼𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙈𝙚

I'm a Christian who loves eating 🥙, making music 🎼, and watching sports🏈🏀. I earned a bachelor's of science in Music and a Bachelor's of science in Biochemistry in May 2020. After finishing my undergraduate study, I worked as a Medical Scribe in the Emergency Department! If you haven't guessed by now my favorite color is purple 💜and some of my favorite shows are This is Us, All American and Love is Blind. I am the first in my immediate family to pursue the MD path👩🏽‍⚕️ and there was so much I just didn't know. I've learned so much that I want to share with others like me as well as sharing my inner most thoughts as I embark on this new journey of becoming an MD.
