Powrót PLL po pierwszej nocy za gniazdem / PLL returns after first night behind the nest

Drugi pod względem wieku młody PLL spędził dziś noc za gniazdem. Pierwszy lot w przypadku starszego PLP niestety skończył się tragicznie i ptak zginął. Oczywiście najlepiej by było, żeby młode spały w gnieździe i były pod ciągłą opieką Rosy. Nie mamy jednak na to żadnego wpływu i to po prostu niemożliwe. Dziś powinien rozlatać się najmłodszy PLN. Po kilku dniach ptaki osiągają wysokie zdolności awiacyjne, które umożliwią im omijanie niebezpiecznych przeszkód czy bezpieczne lądowanie wśród gałęzi drzew. Trzymajmy kciuki za ten jak się okazuje bardzo trudny moment w rozwoju piskląt, czyli PIERWSZY LOT za gniazdo. To początek procesu usamodzielniania się piskląt u ptaków drapieżnych, który w przypadku rybołowów kończy się w dniu podjęcia migracji. Wtedy zrywają więzi z rodzicami i podejmują samodzielne życie w drodze do Afryki.

The second-oldest young PLL spent the night behind the nest today. Unfortunately, the first flight of the older PLP ended tragically, and the bird died. Of course, it would be best if the youngsters slept in the nest and were under Rosa's constant care. However, we have no control over this, and it's simply impossible. The youngest PLN should fly today. After a few days, the birds develop high flight skills, allowing them to avoid dangerous obstacles and land safely among tree branches. Let's keep our fingers crossed for this, as it turns out, very difficult moment in the chicks' development: the FIRST FLIGHT behind the nest. This is the beginning of the process of chicks becoming independent in birds of prey, which, in the case of ospreys, ends on the day they begin their migration. Then, they break ties with their parents and embark on an independent life on their way to Africa.
