Hey Everyone! I get tons of questions on scholarships and loans
There are both merit and need based scholarships available in dental school. I would encourage you to get really familiar with your school's process and to make sure you meet all priority deadlines for FAFSA. I was surprised to see that there are many options out there. The earlier you know what is available to you, the earlier you can plan. If you need merit based, you will work on keeping your grades up. If you know you qualify for a need based scholarship, you ensure the school has all the appropriate information they need to offer you some help. There are also private scholarships from companies and private dental offices as well. Make sure you search!
