In this episode of the GT460 build, we take on one of the most technical and satisfying parts of the swap — cutting the CD009 transmission case to fit a custom XAT Racing adapter, which allows us to bolt on a factory GX460 bellhousing to our 1UR-FE V8.
This clever setup lets us retain the OEM Lexus starter location while using a proven Nissan 6-speed manual, making this one of the cleanest and most unique V8/manual combos out there.
