We prepare an Argon 18 E117 disc frame ready for the 2024 Time Trial season. We overhaul all the details making sure that no area of the bike is bleeding potential speed. Our brief was to simply make it faster. We show you all the close up details of the work we did.
We change out the bearings of the @zippspeed Super 9 rear wheel with NTN Low contact bearings.
The front wheel uses a new Tri Spoke from Evolve Aero - the Revolver Wheels
We switched out the battered old @BBInfinite Bottom Bracket with a new one. This is still running a little stiff for some reason.
The chains were waxed in a Teflon, PTFE infused Concoction for maximum environmental unfriendliness, but maximum slipperiness.
We fitted the massive 60t chain ring from Alugear
The Enigma bars and extensions are from Watt Shop. Probably the best way to achieve a robust and stiff cockpit with the Prey Mantis riding position.
Tyres are the Michelin Power Time Trials in 25mm with Tubalito Inner tubes.
