Sweet Baby Ray's Original BBQ Sauce (Copycat) Recipe

1 PINT RECIPE:
1 1/2 cup plain ketchup OR 2 cups of tomato sauce
1 TBSP apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed
1/8 cup molasses
1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Dijon or yellow mustard
1/8-1/4 tsp liquid smoke, to your taste
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp celery seed
1/4 cup water (omit if using sauce)
1/2 tsp salt
pepper to taste

CANNING RECIPE for 7-8 PINTS
(ending amount depends on the liquid content and cooking time)
16 cups of tomato sauce base or 12 cups ketchup
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
4 cups brown sugar
1 cup molasses
8TBSP Worcestershire sauce
8 tsp Dijon or yellow mustard
2 tsp liquid smoke
4 tsp smoked paprika
4 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp celery seed
2 cups water (omit if using tomato sauce)
4 tsp salt
pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:
Mix all together
cook until thick, about 30 mins.
Water bath for 10-15 mins pints or 20 mins quarts.
*You can always water bath longer if you so desire.*
