Eighty years ago, on February 19, 1945, United States Marines stormed the black sands of Iwo Jima, facing relentless enemy fire in a battle that tested the limits of human endurance. United in purpose, Marines, Sailors, Soldiers, Airmen, Mariners, and Coast Guardsmen fought together for 36 brutal days. Courage, sacrifice, and determination prevailed as the American flag rose atop Mount Suribachi—a moment forever etched in our nation’s memory.
This hard-fought victory brought Allied forces one step closer to ending the war and gave the world an enduring symbol of resilience. From the beaches to the skies above, the courage of these heroes paved the way for freedom.
Join us in honoring the brave men and women who fought, supported, and sacrificed during this pivotal battle with our special 80th anniversary commemorative video.
“Among the Americans who served on Iwo Jima, uncommon valor was a common virtue.” ~ Admiral Chester Nimitz
