Surveying a Massive Open-Pit Mine with ROCK Ultra LiDAR | Dataset Fly-Through

In this project, Keith Seidler (Chief Geologist) and Jeffrey Wannop (Senior Geologist & UAV Pilot) flew the Ultra from the rim, maintaining a safe high-altitude standoff while still capturing survey-grade detail from the pit walls all the way to the floor. No terrain following. No rim exposure. Safe, stable, and efficient.

This fly-through demonstrates why the ROCK Ultra is uniquely suited for deep pits, steep walls, elevated hazards, and environments where safety and efficiency cannot be compromised.
