A post on Facebook resonated deeply with me and I felt that the timing was right to face up to things relating to my mother.

She had been particularly and increasingly unpleasant over the last years resulting in feelings of not being able to go on seeing her, having absolutely had enough. Also I’d begun to let go of 40 years of driving myself as pianist/teacher. I couldn’t make decisions, had low energy and felt easily overwhelmed.

I attended 12 step meetings. I don’t think that they gave me enough time to speak and I couldn’t find anyone to work with deeply enough one to one.

However, as a result of trusting my gut and going for it, the result was that I am much clearer, have more energy and a great momentum has ensued. I am living in a new place! I feel free from all that burdened me!

I got clear around my mother’s behaviour and no longer fall for her manipulative ways. There was a huge rush of energy and confidence. I actually got more than I expected!
