Home recording, a demo of an original song by Mick Sumbling (El Mick).
Why make make a mountain out of a molehill?
Film footage from the famous (in the UK) PG Tips tea commercials from the 60s & 70s, which featured chimpanzees in various roles and professions. Politically incorrect? I'm referring to all this tea drinking, of course.
STORM IN A TEACUP
El Mick
1. Bone china and a silver spoon.
Darjeeling in the afternoon.
Tea-time, tempers fray
And the hostess gets carried away.
It's a storm, a storm in a teacup.
Much ado about nothing new.
It's a storm, It's a storm in a teacup.
It's so small, it's nothing at all.
2. Voices raised and out of phase
It takes a lot of gall
To make a mountain of a molehill
When it's no big deal at all
It's a storm in a teacup, baby.
Just a storm in a teacup, lady.
It's a storm in a teacup.
Much ado about nothing new.
3. Keep cool and count to ten
It's not that hard to do
Sit tight, watch and wait
There's nothing else to do
It's a storm in a teacup, baby
Just a storm in a teacup, lady
It's a storm in a teacup
Much ado about nothing new
