EP5 | Trekking through Clouds In MULLAYANAGIRI - Highest Peak In Karnataka | Chikmagalur Trip

Hello everyone, I’m Sagar Lama and welcome you to the channel Bikemybuddy with another vlog. In the last series of the Chikmagalur trip, due to landslides and heavy rain, most of the places in Chikmagalur were closed, hence we could not explore anything there. We were very upset and promised to come back to Chikmagalur again and explore the places. Here we are at Chikmagalur again on a Honda Active 125 5g.
We explored the beautiful and highest peak in Karnataka, Mullayanagiri Peak, which was covered with clouds, literally. We were literally trekking through clouds on the Mullayanagir Peak and, are blessed with an unmatched beauty. The altitude of Mullayanagiri Peak is 6400.17 feet, which makes it one of the best places for trekking in Karnataka. It is the highest peak in Karnataka and also the 23rd highest peak in Western Ghats. The view from the summit is even more beautiful and hordes of trekkers visit the place to fulfil their adventurous desire every year there are 500 steps to climb up to the peak. You can feel the cloud touching you. It's a must-visit place in Chikmagalur.

Trekking is easy though steep ascents however, concrete steps are provided for easy walk to the peak. There is no entry fee to Mullayanagiri Peak.
The pleasant weather of Chikmagalur welcomes tourists all through the year. However, September to May is the best time to visit the peak and indulge in trekking.
