This video tutorial explains the various ways we can retexture items in DayZ modding - from finding the hidden selections using Mikero tools, to applying them and even using a RVMAT hack to force texture overrides for certain items which can't ordinarily be retextured.
This is part of a potential series of in-depth tutorials - if you guys like this sort of thing and want to see a deeper dive into this sort of scripting content then please let me know.
