Welcome to Lake Whitney State Park!!

And more importantly, welcome to Dillo Daze 2025!
Dillo Daze is a meetup of individuals who have an interest in community, RV traveling, camping, fellowship and most of all….getting to know Dude RV!

Held the first weekend of February, this event has been going on for the last 2 years and it was high time I made it there for the 3rd one.
As I’ve mentioned before, DudeRV’s channel is one I’ve been watching for over 4 years and I remember watching some videos of his first Dillo Daze event and telling Mrs. Switchback that we’ll be there one day soon enough.

Here we are. Finally.

And the location is perfect. Lake Whitney State Park is beautiful. This lake is a 23,500 acre impoundment on the Brazos river. The park itself is a delight for anyone interested in fishing, camping, RVing, swimming (not in February!) and just hanging out on a gorgeous clearwater lake.

This long weekend for us was just what we needed. And we met up with other RVer’s and other YouTuber’s as well!
