2021 GMC Yukon AT4 Review | Better Than The Rest Of The Off-Roaders?

GMC unveiled the newer generation of its popular 7-seater family SUV which is the Yukon. The GMC Yukon 2021 comes in 4 different variants which are the Yukon SLE, Yukon SLT, Yukon Denali and Yukon AT4. The GMC Yukon AT4 is introduced for the first time with a more focussed off-roading SUV. It has a desert bumper which is only available in the Middle East region. The desert bumper also gives the Yukon an angle of approach of 34 degrees.

The GMC Yukon Denali is a more luxurious and city cruising SUV. While the new Yukon has grown bigger by 3% but it offers 66% more boot space and 40% extra third-row space when compared to the previous generation of the Yukon. The 2021 Yukon AT4 has 4-corner air suspension that allows a driver to raise the height of the car by 2-inches when put in the off-road mode. The air suspension also offers a comfortable ride on the road.

The GMC Yukon AT4 comes with a 5.3 Litre, V8, naturally aspirated petrol engine that pumps out 355 bhp and 520 Nm of torque. It comes with a four-wheel-drive (4WD) system and has a 2-speed transfer case with electronic differential. The Yukon comes standard with 10-speed automatic gearbox across all the models. The 2021 Yukon Denali is offered with a 6.2L, V8 engine.

On the technology front, GMC has introduced a 10.2-inch infotainment system which has the latest operating system. This is one of the fastest OS I have ever used. There is a diagonally 15-inch long heads up display (HUD). GMC has also introduced on it's Yukon the On Star GMC service that is like an assistant service to help you out with anything around your car. The Yukon 2021 comes with Bose premium sound system and has 8 cameras to help you out with parking. The new interior comes with a jet black coloured seats with Kalahari accents in them.

The GMC Yukon AT4 also competes with 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe High Country.
