Amazing to see the 81-year-old Felix Cavaliere and The Rascals perform at Flower Power 2024. Between 1966 and 1968 the band had nine singles that reached either Number One or the top 10. Hit songs included “Good Lovin’,” “Groovin’,” “People Got to Be Free,” “How Can I Be Sure?,” “A Beautiful Morning,” and “A Girl Like You.” The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997. This music was an important part of my childhood. Never owned any of their records but heard their music so often on the radio.
