In this standout episode, Robert Culp, as Texas Ranger Hoby Gilman, gets to play lots of emotional notes opposite some fantastic guest stars: This is the third of Deforest Kelly's four appearances on Trackdown, but blink and you will miss him; The spotlight here is on James Coburn (Magnificent Seven) and Beverly Garland (My Three Sons), each running from the past in their own way. Culp and Coburn would re-team in 1976 for the hang-gliding rescue film Sky Riders.
This network print includes the commercials, from the primary sponsor at the time, Lucky Strike cigarettes, but also Mobil Oil.
