A 54 Km/h (33.5 Mph) CMVSS 214 Side impact performed by Transport Canada at PMG Technologies in Blainville, Quebec on 03/11/2002. The research procedures used are referred to as the PMG procedure 214 V5 dated June 10th 1999 and the ECE procedure, directive 96/27/EC dated May 20th 1996. The Explorer's occupants are Hybrid III 5th Percentile Female dummies, the DeVille occupants are a SID-IIs 5th Percentile Female dummy in the front seat and a simulated 3 year-old Dummy in a forward-facing child seat in the rear seat. This test features a 1999 Ford Explorer impacting a 2000 Cadillac DeVille in an FMVSS/CMVSS 214 configuration at 31.2 Mph (50.2 Km/h).
