कोकण दिवा
एक अजस्र नैसर्गिक सुळका
कोकण दिवा ही पूर्वीच्या काळी एक चौकी होती. रायगड आणि आजूबाजूच्या घाटवाटांवर लक्ष ठेवण्यासाठी याचा वापर केला जायचा.
वरती काही लेणी आणि कातळात खोडलेली पाण्याची टाकी आहेत.वरून रायगडसह लिंगाणा आणि कोकणचा बराचसा भाग नजरेस पडतो.या चौकी सदृश्य किल्ल्यावर यायला एकूण दोन वाटा आहेत.
एक वाट ही कोकणातून महाड मार्गे सांदोशी गावातून कावळ्या बावल्या खिंडीतून वर कोकण दिव्यावर येते तर दुसरी वाट पुण्याहून पानशेत मार्गे घोल गारजाईवाडी गावातून साधारण 2 ते अडीच तासाच्या पायपिटीनंतर आपण कोकण दिव्यावर पोहचतो.संपूर्ण पायवाट ही दाट जंगलामधून जाते, वाटेत एक दगडी पाषाणातील मंदिर देखील पाहायला मिळते.
हा संपूर्ण परिसर जैवविविधतेने समृद्ध परिसर त्यामुळे वाटेत अनेक दुर्मिळ पक्षी, कीटक, वनस्पती आपल्याला पाहायला मिळतात.
अतिशय थरारक असा हा प्रवास प्रत्येकाने नक्कीच करायला हवा. पण सोबतीला जाणकार व्यक्ती असणे गरजेचे आहे.

The Kokan Diva Fort trek is a challenging trek near Pune that takes you through a dense forest.
The most exciting part of the trek is crossing a Devrai.
Kokandiva Fort is a located 70km form Pune In Maharashtra.This fort is on the boundary of Raigad and Pune district. The fort was important as a surveillance fort to keep watch on the possible attack on the Raigad Fort.
There is a cave and few rock-cut water cisterns on the fort to be seen.

HOW TO REACH
There are teo routes to reach the fort. The route from Konkan region is tough and the nearest town is Mahad which is 61 km from Mumbai. The base village of the fort is Sandishi which is 32 km from Mahad. The trekking path passes through the kavlya ghat hillock north of the Sandoshi.
The second route starts from Village Garjaiwadi which is near Ghol in Pune District.
This route is very safe and wide.
