The PreetiMirror

Articulating both a spatial and metaphysical trajectory, the PreetiMirror is a transformational device - both object and invocation - an invitation to journey inward and dwell within the Truth of one’s own being.

This talismanic sculpture was first employed as an object of contemplation by ArtBeings within Maharishikaa Preeti’s international conceptual art movement ArtBeings.

At the center of this instrument sculpture lies a mirror – a highly reflective steel disk - a metaphysical axis from which the viewer is drawn inward into the microcosmic architecture of the Soul; from the seen to the sensed, from material presence to energetic essence.

Six differently dimensioned waves – hand hammered with thousands of strokes - evoke six realms of embodied human consciousness, each wave resonating with a corresponding chakra within the body.

The undulating waves, both descending and ascending invite the viewer to move outward from the reflective center toward the macrocosmic expanse, tracing a passage from dense to subtle matter.

Formally, the sculpture embodies the archetypal union of feminine and masculine — concentric waves suggestive of the Yoni (vulva), and reflective disk standing as the Lingam (phallus).
