To create this side snatchback hairstyle on coils, follow these steps:
Step 1 - Start with soaking wet coily hair, and apply a leave-in product to help define the coils and reduce frizz. Work the product through and define the coils using the raking method and the finger curling method.
Step 2 - Use a strong hold hair gel to smooth the hair back above the ear on whichever side you choose for your snatchback. Then use a soft brush to pull the hair back to sculpt the shape and stretch out the curl pattern.
Step 3 - Secure the side snatchback hairstyle with a pin.
Step 4 - Dry the coily hair, with a diffuser, starting with the side of the snatchback using the hover diffusing method. Use the diffuser on a high heat but low speed setting. This helps to set the style in place.
Step 5 - Use a bamboo pick to pull out the coily hair to create the look of big hair. You can choose how much volume you wish to create. Start at the root, rather than dragging the pick through the whole length of the hair.
Step 6 - Finish the look with hairspray to set the coils in place and secure the final coily hairstyle.
