Rendition of Konstantinos Psahos' transcription of Çeçen Kızı included in his collective work Asias Lyra, pusblished in Athens in 1908 under the title "Kourdikon melos" (Kurdish Tune). This unknown transcription in Byzantine notation is earlier than the famous discography rendition of Tanburi Cemil Bey. Konstantinos Psahos’ transcription of Çeçen Kızı can be considered as very useful “historical material” in regard to the comparative approach of this multivariate tune. Thus, as an early score, it holds a scientific “discussion” with the transcription of Sousamlis from Lesvos (-Kiourtiko-1904), Tanburi Cemil Bey’s recording and all of the oral material (recordings, live performances).
