RALEIGH - Raw video footage of a four alarm fire at Meserve Hall at Shaw University, 118 E. South Street on January 23, 1991. Dispatched about 4:15 p.m. Controlled at 8:30 p.m. Fire gutted the top two floors of the 96 year-old building, that had been recently remodeled. Top floors were a dormitory for female students, ground floor was administrative offices. Video credits unknown. Copied from VHS videotape on January 5, 2019.
