India's first modern engineering marvel project is the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed ​​Bullet Train Project. Let us know that out of the three major railway maintenance depots being constructed in the 509-km long Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project, the largest depot is being constructed in the Sabarmati area of ​​Ahmedabad. The construction work is being done by Gujarat's renowned construction company Shashin Infrastructure Private Limited (SCC Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd.).

The bullet train depot being built on an 84-acre land includes train maintenance, train washing area, workshop, shed, passenger facilities such as clean drinking water, train washing water, rest area, refreshment area. Sabarmati Bullet Depot is truly a modern engineering marvel for India.

Currently, the construction work of Sabarmati Bullet Train Depot is going on in full swing. In which the largest concrete pore has been constructed in the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed ​​Bullet Train Project by SCC Infrastructure. Which was completed in just 65 hours. Talking about the area of ​​the concrete pore that was constructed, it was a total of 9420 square meters and the total concrete was 4967 cubic meters and the raft was 9600 square meters. In this way, the work of this entire concrete pore was completed in just 65 hours, which is an achievement for the SCC Infrastructure Company.

It is worth mentioning that all the facilities are being provided in this train depot keeping in mind the sustainability and long term. Two borewells have been constructed for pure drinking water. But, four large underground tanks are being constructed in the Sabarmati depot of the bullet train so that rainwater does not spoil and its use for other purposes including drinking water. Along with this, four large ponds have also been constructed. Along with this, separate plants are being built for collecting rainwater and recycling and disposing of waste water.

All kinds of facilities will be provided to the employees in the three depots being built across the country for the bullet train. Such as, clean drinking water, drying room, canteen, auditorium and training facilities.

A total of 29 bullet track lines have been constructed in these depots. But, at present, 10 track lines have been constructed, out of which, 4 train lines will be used mostly for changing coaches and washing and maintenance of trains. The management of all the facilities used in the entire depot will be centralized.
