This yin restorative session was guided with extra care for a student navigating fibromyalgia, fatigue, and heightened sensitivity in the body.
The pace is intentionally slow, with long-supported holds and plenty of space between transitions. Rather than stretching deeply or pushing range of motion, this class emphasizes comfort, warmth, and ease. The goal is to help the body settle and the mind soften.
This class was taught in my home studio during an in-person session and recorded as it unfolded. You may notice quiet moments, thoughtful pauses, and gentle reminders to adjust or rest. It’s designed to be followed primarily through listening, allowing you to move or remain still as your body needs.
This practice may support you if:
• You experience fibromyalgia or chronic pain
• Your energy levels fluctuate day to day
• You are sensitive to fast or demanding movement
• You want a restful approach to yoga without expectations
• You are learning how to work with your body rather than against it
There is no right way to do this class. You’re welcome to use props generously, skip postures, or stay in stillness for the entire practice if that feels best.
If this offering supports you, you’re invited to return to it whenever you need grounding and care.
